FOLGAT AG became the co-owner of Ukrainian firm ITV

German joint-stock company Folgat AG became the co-owner of firm ITV specializing in the field of development and manufacture of means of safety. The new industrial enterprise also is equipped with a modern conveyor line of central assembly of end-products, means of testing and service.

As it is informed in the press release widespread on this occasion, ITV has installed the modern line of mounting of printed-circuit-boards which consists of: the printer for application of soldering paste and glue on PCB, high-efficiency machine tools for automatic installation of electronic elements, means of optical quality assurance, the infra-red furnace, the conveyor for manual installation components, lead-free line for the wave soldering. This will allow ITV to export its production into EC, and especially in the year 2006 when the law prohibiting the import into this region of all electronic components containing the lead will take effect.

Moreover, management of Folgat AG has made a decision to carry over the whole computer assemblage of Ukrainian firm " FOLGAT " to ITV factory in the year 2005. The mounting line of PCB starts production output January-February, in full production the enterprise will work already in the first quarter of 2005.
